Philosophy

Associates in Psychological Services, P.A. is a group private practice in Somerville, NJ.  We are well established, having served the community since 1981.  We are proud of our reputation for excellence.

All members of our staff are licensed, either as psychologists or professional counselors.  We take an active, problem-solving approach to treatment, based on methods supported in the professional literature.  Staff are recruited both for their ability to maintain a general practice as well as for their expertise in particular areas of clinical specialty.

Our group offers a level of service distinctive in the private sector.  Our large staff has a breadth of skills typically not found in a private practice.  We frequently take advantage of easily available, in-house consultations with colleagues.  We offer services to people of all ages, and have some staff who can provide therapy in Spanish.  Our office is equipped with a sophisticated and reliable voice mail system that allows us to respond rapidly to clinical emergencies.  Our abiding commitment is to provide quality service at the highest level.
