Dr. Sean Hiscox specializes in forensic psychology, maintains a general psychotherapy practice, and is a managing partner at APS. He conducts forensic evaluations, gives testimony, and provides consultation in a range of criminal areas for both juveniles and adults, including sex offender assessment and treatment, criminal risk assessment, criminal competencies, firesetting risk assessment, and parental fitness and bonding assessments. In civil areas, he performs personal injury evaluations.

Dr. Hiscox is the Past-President of the New Jersey Chapter of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA). Previously, he served as a board member for many years. Prior to joining APS, he was the Director of Clinical Services for Pinelands, the New Jersey Juvenile Justice Commission’s sex offender treatment program.

Dr. Hiscox’s general psychotherapy practice focuses on adolescents and adults displaying a full spectrum of disorders. Areas of interest include obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety and mood disorders, impulse control disorders, and marital/couples treatment. He also provides supervision for psychologists working toward state licensure.
